Walking tour from Jatiluiwih to Tamblingan lake

Hi am Dika from Bali Jungle Trekking Team, hope all of you are doing well. in this nice opportunity I would like to share a bit about our trip from Jatiluiwih to Tamblingan Lake. We done this trip with our Costumer from Frances, they book this tour about 2 weeks before. We picked them from One of the nice accomodation 15 minutes from central of Ubud, the accomodation located in the middle of the rice field, it was very nice. We arrived at their accomodation at 04,00 am as per our appointment time. it was very nice to meet them, Audrey named one of our guest, she was very friendly and she love to share information with us.

From Ubud to our starting point is takes about 2 Hours drive, but before we start our trek through the jungle, we did a visit to see Jatiluiwih rice fields for about 15 minutes. After look around seeing rice field we just directly drive to Starting point, it’s named Soka temple ( located at the feet of Bukit Puun ).

Well, before we entering the jungle we do bit preparation, we just bring the important things like food for our meal during the trip, raincoat, and enough water. The jungle is still very protected and look very amazing, after 3 hour walk we arrived at Beji temple where we take a rest for about 15 minutes, we have a cup of coffee and tea with some Balinese Cake, after then we continue our trek. Finally after 8 hours trek we arrived at Tamblingan lake, we camp at the shore of Tamblingan for 1 night before we continue our trek next day.
